Spice up your front yard with some plants!

I love the spring time. I always look forward to seeing what my local garden centres have in store. I enjoy gardening in my free time. It always gives me great pleasure and satisfaction to see my front yard thrive and look esthetically pleasing. Gardening doesn't have be a chore. It's a great way to get some fresh air and also enhance your curb appeal.

When choosing plants it is necessary to know how sunny/shady your desired plant placement is. You must select your plants according to this otherwise you will be wasting money when your plants die. It is good to choose a different variety of plants (bushes, shrubs, flowers, trees) to create a more interesting look. Be sure to note how big the plant will grow in a few years time. I often see very very crowded gardens and this is usually the result of poor planning.

Start small and slowly build up. You may eventually wish to include statues, fountains, or landscaping stones. This hobby can get quite addicting and expensive so budget accordingly. Happy gardening!
