I can't stress the importance of exercising regularly. It not only keeps the body in shape but it also keeps the mind and spirit in shape. I have friends that tell me that they feel younger and and have more energy now that they have a steady exercise routine. They also feel more confident about themselves.
I've always enjoyed playing badminton. I play recreationally and play with people people of all skill levels. I make it a habit to go once a week with friends. Sometimes friends get busy and can't come. It's all about staying positive and going anyway. You will always find people to play play with; You might even form new friendships.
