Education
In my younger days I attended J.E. Benson Public School; J.C. Patterson Collegiate Institute; Supervisory Management Certificate, and several Business Administration courses at the University of Windor; and Skilled Trades Apprenticeship (Millwright) at St. Clair College.
I completed my Real Estate licensing from the Ontario Real Estate Association in 1989.
Specialized training from Century 21 Canada: Pro Power 21, Buyer Representation, VIP Specialist, and create21.
Ongoing education as required by the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) with a minimum of 24 course credits every 2 years to renew my Real Estate license.

Personal Background
I am married to Jo-Ann who was a Resource Utilization Nurse at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, and recently retired in February 2012 after 43 years of differing Nursing specialties. We have 3 children, Brad, David and Heather. Brad is Territory Manager for Lafarge Aggregates; David is the Executive Chef with Viewpointe Estate Winery; and Heather is a Social Worker with The Children's Aid Society of Ottawa. We just celebrated our 43rd Anniversary.
Professional Background
I have been a Sales Reprsentative / REALTOR for twenty three years. Active in organized Real Estate for 23 years, I have served on the Windsor-Essex County Real Estate Board and was President in 1996. Also, I served as Provincial Director-Western Ontario at OREA ( Ontario Real Estate Association from 2003 - 2006 and as a Director -at - Large in 2007. I am also an Instructor for WECREB, and continue to serve on various Committees at both the Local and Provincial levels. I was elected and currently serving a second 2 year term as a Director of the Windsor Essex County Real Estate Board.
I was selected as "Distinguished REALTOR of the Year" by the Windsor-Essex County Real Estate Board in 2004.
Personal Interests
I enjoy most forms of music with a special place for "Oldies". I have always enjoyed photography, 35mm. and now digital SLR & point and shoot. Jo-Ann and I have really been fortunate to play golf together at many of the "Premier Courses" across Canada and the United States.
