Just have to share a memory of Haida Gwaii. 21 years ago today, my ready to deliver wife and I were on the deck of the inter island ferry MV Kwuna very late at night, the island nurse had roused the off duty crew to make the ship ready to sail. In the black of night a short trip seemed like forever, the ambulance crew was waiting on the dock at Skidegate, there was no time for a transfer so I drove quickly to the Queen Charlotte Hospital where after walking in under her own steam, 15 minutes later my wife gave birth to our second daughter Catherine Marie Craig. She celebrated her 21st in Brisbane Australia with her man and friends. We were grateful to share some time on skype last night (already the 31st in Brisbane). Time flys but the memories endure.
