Originally born in Cape Breton IsLand but at six months of age the family moved to the Northern climbs of Timmins Ontario.  Along with my siblings, five brothers and 4 sisters numbering 10 in all plus my parents life was hechtic in the smalll northern town.  Hockey and outdoor sports were central to maintaining one's sanity.  As a sideline music came into being and drums became a long term passion which ended up occupying six years on the road entertaining in bars across the country.  I look back at my short term career with fond memories and credit it with meeting my now wife of 40 years.   Shelley our daughter was our only child who has sense married James and provided us with the joy of our lives "twins", Anywyn and Archer.
