On a sad note, Bruce Borgstrom passed away this week at the young age of 93.
Bruce had been in the real estate business for 70 years listing and selling properties as well as building a number of homes in Oakville. Bruce joined my company a few decades ago and was wealth of knowledge. He was particularly well versed in the older parts of Oakville where lot lines were not always where you would think they should be, and you might often find that detached car garages turned out to be sitting on two properties etc.
During our last Christmas luncheon Bruce and I were talking about his possible retirement. He looked around the room, and then at me, and said, "Why would I want to retire when we have all these good looking gals working in the company?" I never brought up the issue of retirement again.
We will all miss seeing Bruce walking into the office, always immaculately dressed with a suit and tie on. We will also miss his witty one-liners which always created some laughs.
Goodbye Bruce. Thank you for your loving kindness: you are a true gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family from all your friends here at your CENTURY 21 Miller family.
