Marketing Plan & Promotion

My marketing goal is to make any properties that I have listed accessible to as many potential Buyers as possible. The following are some key issues that I feel are important.

1. When a property is listed with Century 21 Reynard Real Estate Ltd, it is our policy to co-operate fully with all other local Real Estate firms immediately. This enables all Realtors the opportunity to sell the property and also of equal importance, a potential Buyer has the option of being represented by an agent of their choosing. This is becoming extremely important in the new Real Estate environment of "Buyer's Agency". It should be noted that there is no Real Estate Board in Kenora and therefore we are not part of the MLS system. We have however developed a co-operative system with the local brokers that works on the same principle of the MLS system.

2. Properly investigating and verifying pertinent facts pertaining to any property so they can be professionally and accurately presented to potential buyers.


3. Exposure
A) The most effective marketing tools at our disposal are the Real Estate Agents themselves. The goal is to get the appropriate information to all of them so that they in turn can contact any potential Buyers in their data base or customer list.

B) Post "For Sale" signs on the property and mark the boundaries to ensure that the properties are easily definable and to provide passers by with the knowledge that the property is for sale and who to contact to get information.

C) Advertising: Several means are employed to properly expose property that we have listed for sale. Likely the main tool now available is the internet. Our listings are posted on our award winning Century 21 Kenora.com site as well as Century 21 cottages.com were applicable. In addition we have the ability to post our listings on Century 21.ca - our national web site. Local advertising is done in our local "Real Estate Guide" (weekly circulation of 12,500). We also use the Winnipeg Free Press to advertise any property that may appeal to the recreational market.
