Barrie Summer Events July Line Up!

 

Things are starting to heat up in Barrie, including the weather! Downtown Barrie has allowed most of the downtown bars and coffee shops to put up a patio that extends out onto the sidewalk, I personally think this is a great idea and love the way people are coming out to support the local establishments and get a tan while they are at it.

Theatre By The Bay Presents 'Romeo and Juliet"

Description:

“Romeo and Juliet” tells the tragic tale of "two star-crossed lovers", each hailing from families with long-held feuds against one another. The bitter grudge between the Montague’s and the Capulet’s runs deep and fierce but when Romeo Montague crosses paths with Juliet Capulet, love blossoms immediately. In order to be together, the two lovers must risk everything including their own lives.

In this action packed drama filled with hatred and betrayal, passion and romance, the audience is left to wonder: are these young lovers victims of circumstance... or was it the cruel hand of fate who intervened?

New Music Fest 2013

The 6th annual Budweiser New Music Fest, is a live music festival featuring roughly 70 live touring artists of various genres, performing a series of concerts and showcases at Barrie’s finest live music venues.

Barrielicious Festival

The intent of the festival is to allow Barrie residents to try a diversity of culinary experience in the downtown area. A prix fixe menu at $15, $20 or $25 per person will be offered at each location. Menu will include an appetizer or soup or salad with an entree and dessert.
