Well Christmas is only 6 days away and I as usual still need to do some shopping, for me it never ever feels like Christmas until Dec 24 but this year is oh so different.
After the events last week in Newtown, I truely believe that I recieved my christmas present early as it was my granddaughter's first birthday on Dec 15. I was able to go over and visit with her and able to hold her and hug her and play with her and tell her how special she is and how much I love her. Kaylee has been in our lives for only one year and I could not imagine if she was not here.
My heart pours out for those families that lost a son or daughter in, Connecticut and I would ask everyone who reads this blog on December 20, 2012 to have a moment of silence for the victims and the survivors and their families and at that same time reflect back on your own family and remember all the happy times and give your loved ones a hug tell them all that you love them and how much they mean to you.
I believe that the best gift you can give someone is to tell them that you love them and that you care about them and you could not imagine life with out them.
In saying that from my family to yours have a very Merry Christmas and the BEST New Year ever!
