Some exciting news recently for a local real estate office being recognized for their efforts.
Century 21 has awarded the Grand Centurion Award to its Foothills chapter in recognition of their customer service.
Broker/Owner Blair Gordon says it's a pretty prestigious award to win within the company.
"The Grand Centurion Award is given out annually to the top franchises in Canada, it's about the highest award that you can receive. And we were the #15 office out of some 400 across Canada, so it's a pretty nice award to get."
The Foothills office covers Okotoks, High River, Turner Valley, and Claresholm, along with a host of other Southern Alberta communities.

"Recognition is always good. You get a little pat on the back, and it never hurts. At a lot of companies and businesses, you work away and nobody ever notices you. But I think recognition in our industry is a big thing."
Gordon does say that it's been an interesting time adapting to Alberta's changing housing market, but says his crew has performed extremely well.
"We're subject to a lot of the highs and lows of the Calgary marketplace and I think Okotoks gets that a little bit after Calgary, and then High River follows suit. Of course, everybody knows what we've been through in this area over the past couple of years with the changes, but our people seem to show resolve and go with the economy as it presents itself."
Gordon and the rest of Foothills Century 21 were in Edmonton to accept the award on Feb. 2. - See more at: http://okotoksonline.com/index.php?option=com_cont...
