Last week was an interesting week for home sales in Red Deer. We had more properties hit the market than leave the market but it was nice to see some higher priced homes selling. In Red Deer 3 homes sold higher than $500,000. It's still a less than perfect time to sell a home in Red Deer with our "inventory rate" or "months of inventory" still high. Sales were up a tiny bit in June compared to June 2017 and with 5 of the first 6 months of 2018 showing higher sales in Red Deer than the same months last year, it will be interesting to see what happens the second part of 2018.

It's still a buyer favoured market in Central Ab and that indicate it's a great time to buy. Most buyers will wait to see if prices drop BUT ALL STATS INDICATE THEY WON'TKeep your eye on my "average price charting" news for Central Alberta >HERE<
