The Humboldt and District Museum & Gallery will be holding their 15th annual Festival of Wreaths live auction tomorrow, Thursday December 4th, beginning at 7 pm. The auction will be held at the Humboldt & District Gallery across the street from the museum. This is one of the major fund raisers for the Museum and Gallery.
According to the website: "The mandate of the Humboldt & District Museum & Gallery is to provide opportunities to expand the knowledge and understanding of the culture and heritage of Humboldt and area. In public trust, the Museum & Gallery preserve and provide public access to the area's heritage, culture and visual arts by collecting, preserving, researching, interpreting and exhibiting artifacts, archival records and information."
There are a variety of items available during the auction: gift baskets, art, quilts and more. For the past month or so, the Gallery has also had a variety of items on display so that people were able to submit bids in a silent auction format.
