Community Involvement

Bob was formerly the vice-chair of the local Economic Development Task Force.  The committee's focus is on maximizing local business opportunities.  Bob had been on this Task Force from 2002-2008 and he was personally focused on the following initiatives:  encouraging the upgrading Alberta Highways, facilitating the remediation of brown-fields, and working with local groups to enhance Post Secondary Learning opportunities, and more.  At this time, he continues to work on a sub-committee focussed on cleaning up the strategically lcoated brownfield sites in the area.
