4th Annual Oakville Trees for Kids
Helps "Build Toy Mountain"
The fourth annual Trees for Kids project is a fun, charitable program where donated Christmas Trees are given away, totally free, to the first 60 people who bring an unwrapped toy or gift to the Century 21 Miller event on Saturday, December 7th.
Trees for Kids began because we really wanted to do something that will truly help our community. Teenagers, ages 12 to 16 are often forgotten when it comes to toy and gift donations, so we decided to focus on them for our fourth year of the event.
This year’s goal is to provide over 200 teenagers with a gift at Christmas. All toys donated will go to the CTV/ Salvation Army Toy Mountain campaign, and will be distributed to Oakville and area teenagers.
60 trees to be given away to the first 60 people to bring an unwrapped gift to the event. Guests will have a chance to visit with Santa Claus as well as participate in face painting, entertainment and refreshments.
The Salvation Army and Red Kettle Campaign will also be on hand to help collect gifts and give away trees.
We are so excited at all the time and effort our volunteers have put into this event. It's great to be able to gather our community to help reach the Toy Mountain goal of 120,000 toys collected this year.
