The Aldershot neighbourhood in Burlington stretches along the shoreline of Hamilton Bay from the Q.E.W on the East to York Blvd. on the West. It's border is just past Hwy. 403. Mature trees, larger lots, the Royal Botanical Gardens, as well as LaSalle Park, make this one of the nicest places to live.
There have been many changes to this small community over the years and with the new interchange at Waterdown Rd to Hwy. 403., this is certainly helping this area grow.

Many updates have taken place and the link below is an update from Ward 1 Councillor Rick Craven, who sheds some light on recent news in Aldershot:
Quick mention to the best place in the city for breakfast. Russell Williams Family Restaurant, has been serving up great food since 1932. If you haven't tried this place, please give yourself extra time, especially on weekends as there are usually long lineups, but well worth the wait.
