Oakville is just 30 minutes from downtown Toronto and only an hour’s drive from Niagara Falls and the United States border.

If art is your passion, enjoy walking from gallery to gallery along historic downtown streets or visiting the new Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre. If you're a history buff, visit the Oakville Museum or take a guided walking tour of our heritage districts. Oakville is also home to several golf courses including Glen Abby Golf Course.

Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, Ontario is very close by and is one of Canada’s largest botanical gardens, a fantastic place to visit!
