The Red Deer and area Real Estate market enjoyed an early 2013 spring market. By the end of January inventories were down, demand was up and consequently we saw a rise in prices. The Spring and Summer market continued strong right through to September were many sellers benefited from receiving multiple offers. We are now into Fall market conditions – inventories have stabilized and sales have slowed down. It’s an excellent time to be a real estate seller or buyer. For sellers you can expect to receive a higher price than last year due to the price increases experienced earlier in the year. For buyers you can now enjoy a slower market were you won’t be as pressured to buy a property the day its listed for sale. If you’re an Investor now’s the time to buy as rental vacancy rates are extremely low. Based on the positive economic projections for the upcoming months for Red Deer and Central Alberta’s economy I would expect to see a continued very healthy real estate market.
