Camp Easter Seal is a wheelchair accessible recreational camp that helps children with disabilities to meet new friends, develop new skills and enjoy a one-week camping vacation.
Everyone that attended the Camp Day Tour have been supporting Camp Easter Seal for years but this was the first visit to the Camp for some. The comments were very similar . . . phenomenal, overwhelming, incredible. The pool, the swimming, the lake, the crafts, horseback riding and all the things we take for granted are so important to the campers that look forward to having one week at this amazing camp. It was very moving when you see all the kids, with varying disabilities. The one thing you did not see was a sad face, everyone was laughing, smiling and having a great time. It was quite evident that there is never a quiet time at the camp . . . the kids are just having the time of their lives.
