In meetings with Kelowna City Planning, I am told that Callahan Properties Group has proposed to the City that they will complete the Frost Road connection to Chute Lake Road to create a straight road to the new Retail Space under construction at the corner of Frost Road and Gordon Drive. I am told that in order to expedite the process, that Callahan has proposed to cover the cost of the Frost Road extension.
With the completion of the Frost Road extension and the addition of the Perimeter Road connection from The Ponds to Crawford Estates, the new retail space will have a much larger population base to draw from.
