Specializing in happy customers.  My Real Estate career began in 1991 and have continually received various industry awards for my production.  I provide a thorough knowledge of market trends and will always convey my understanding of the Rural and Urban Areas.  I enjoy family life with my 3 children, but nothing is more delightful than to be spending my time with my two precious grand daughters.  I involve myself with the Masonic Order both in the Lodges of AFAM as well as the Eastern Star.  Chances are that you will meet my gorgeous Black Lab Marley who is single handedly responsible for providing me with physical fitness.   I have in previous years been a volunteer fire fighter and coached baseball.  Providing service to satisfy you is my number one goal in a mannger of confidence and compassion for your special need.   You will quickly feel trust and recognize that I will take care of you through your Real Estate Transaction!

Professional Background

I have lived in Nelson my entire life working at first in the flower business with a long standing business known as Coventry's Flowers an FTD affiliate.   I started there as what was called a swamper, the guy that took flowers from the truck to the house.   Later I was the driver and later I worked in the store.   In 1972 I got hired on at CP Rail and worked there until the closure of the Nelson Station in 1990.    I worked every scheduled job in the Customer Service Centre and absolutely loved the transportation industry and the personality of the Railway community was of the highest character.   Instead of moving with the Railway meaning uprooting my family, I made the decision to get in to the Real Estate Industry and here I am.   This has been a marvelous transition career and love every minute of it.   I will always love the people and work toward a happy conclusion every transaction.

Professional Interests

Atteding the courses set out by the Real Estate Industry are of utmost interest and importance.   The Industry provides 5 to 6 courses a year for the betterment and improvement of our Professionalism.   I take a high interest in attending these courses as it keeps me current with the Industry's changes and allows me to stay on top of the changes in order to convey this to the people, the clients that are expecting me to know which provides them with quality service again leading to the happy conclusion of a transaction

Personal Background

I have resided in the West Kootenay all my life. No matter where I go in the world, everyone has heard of the Kootenays and say either they want to go there, or they have been here and say they want to live here one day. I have never found any place on this planet that compares. We have 4 definite seasons, it can get really hot for a day or two in the summer and it can get cold for a day or two in the winter, but the rest of the year will give you some pretty relaxed and laid back weather patterns. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, and who isnt, this is the place for you. I dont plan on leaving and I know that what I have here is what people will travel for thousands of miles to gain a piece of. Come and see me for your tour and again, a happy conclusion to your Real Estate transaction.

Personal Interests

My grand children are of the utmost interest to me.   Spending time with them is absolutely everything grand parenthood is cracked up to be.   To be the reason you see a twinkle in their eye of hear the laughter is a prize second to none.   My dog Marley, a black lab I fell in love with at the Garlic Fest of 2008 was one of the best most extreme impulse decisions I made for myself.   She is so kind and loving.   I did not think I had time for a dog, but she is simply been the best, she gets me out walking everyday.   I say she is the best exercise machine I have ever found.   I love to play bridge.   The game keeps my mind active.  Additionally, I am at long last learning to play the piano.  This has been a challenge to say the least, but is proving to have reward.   There are times I glance at my instructor and catch her rolling her eyes, but we percervere.

I enjoy nothing more than to get out of the office and out of the City and tour Rural properties.   There is always something unique to know about your plan to purchase a property in the Rural Setting.   I assure you, all aspects of your purchase will be afforded to you so you can feel the confidence you have made a very informed decision upon your purchase, happily.
