TIPS FOR SPRING

Spring is right around the corner, and for most home owners it’s an exciting time to get your home ready.

Tips to help ready your home:

Replace old or cracking caulk and replace weather stripping. Inspect the roof for broken or missing shingles, or tiles, and clean out gutters and downspouts at the same time.

Review your home’s major HVAC – heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems. Ensure air filters have been replaced or cleaned and stock up on new air filters if you use disposable one. Check your air conditioner.

By now your windows – inside and out could use a cleaning. Clean off ceiling fans, and clean out fireplaces from use over the winter. Test your emergency systems in your home: home alarm, smoke fire alarm, fire extinguisher, and carbon monoxide alarms to ensure they are working properly

Spring maintenance is a good idea for everyone, and even more important if you’re considering putting your home on the market soon.ummer to ensure it is in good working order.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the 2013 Easter Seals Snowarama this year. Thanks to the donations and riders, they have raised a record amount of 162,000.00 this year that will help send 108 children to camp. Platium Sponsor CENTURY 21 Broadway Park Realty was honoured to take part in this event, Our team was out Friday night serving wings and drinks to all the registered riders and showed support at the wonderful Banquet Saturday night. We look forward to the event next year.
