Do you really save time by calling the Listings directly that you want to see?
I encounter this sometimes from my ad calls when buyers call say they can do it faster on their own because they don't want to be fixed to one Agent's schedule. This is not the case at all. Think about this scenario: You have found 3 homes that you want to set up showings for. So, you pick up the phone and call all 3 Listing Agents to set up a showing. Now you have to sit back and wait for their return call, which can often take a long time. Once you hear back from them, you now have coordinate with 3 different professionals, all of whom have busy schedules of their own. What do you think the odds are that they are all available during the 1 or 2 hour window you've set aside for this? If you are working with your own REALTOR®, you simply call and tell them your one-hour time frame. Your REALTOR will then book the appointments, take care of the details and go through all thel homes with you. By doing this, you will save a great deal of time with no hassles.
