Personal Interests

Most of Bryan's personal interests revolve around his children.  He is heavily involved in Minor Hockey being a Hockey Canada Certified Coach to a rep level.

In 2008-2009 Bryan coached the Castlegar Senior Novice Predators team as well as assisted with the West Kootenay Pee Wee Wildcats Girls.  The Wildcats finished a respectable 4th place at the Pee Wee Girls Provincials in West Vancouver.  He was extremely proud to see his daughter raise her level of play and earn icetime on a competitive team!

In 2007-2008 he coached the Castlegar Senior Novice Raptors team as well as assisted on a Castlegar Atom team.  In addition, Bryan created and ran a program new to Castlegar Minor Hockey Association called Prep Hockey.  This was designed to help the beginner to learn the basics, have fun and prepare for his or her first year of minor hockey.  In November 2007, Bryan had a coaching career highlight when he stood on the Canucks bench and coached his novice team at GM Place.  If that wasn't good enough, his son scored the game's first goal and was interviewed on the jumbotron.  Proud papa!

He spent 2006-2007 coaching the Castlegar Junior Novice Knights as well as assisting for the Castlegar Senior Novice Snipers.

2005-2006 marked Bryan's return to Castlegar Minor Hockey.  His son was now old enough to lace em up and Bryan enjoyed every minute of watching his little guy make his way around the ice.
