Superbowl XLVII weekend in New Orleans!

Hello sports fans across the world! This is the weekend that NFL Fans have been waiting for since the season opening kick off, SUperbowl weekend is finally here. Let us take a moment to reflect on the first few weeks of the 2012 season, fans from near and far were left shaking their heads at some of the calls being made by replacement referees. Some of those questionable calls, made or broke games.

I am pretty sure by now most people have heard the two teams participating in Superbowl XLVII (also known as 48 for those who may be confused by Roman Numerals) are the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers.

This year will not only be the battle of two teams, it is the battle of two quarterbacks, two strong defenses, two very good offenses but perhaps more importantly for one family...the battle of of two head coaches. Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh vs San Francisco's head coach Jim Harbaugh. John is the older brother and has more experience in big games, but Jim has played a huge part in the success of Colin Kaepernick.

Personally, my interest in the game itself is mediocre at best. What I look forward to is the opportunity to entertain friends and family, to place friendly wagers on the game, to watch the half time show (Beyonce is this years entertainment) and to watch the commercials, although the Canadian networks don't get the really "good" commercial that they have on the US networks. To see the "good" commercials many Canadians will have to tune in to YouTube after the game.

For the past couple of years Century21 has produced Superbowl commercials, last year we had Donald Trump (among others). Check out the all of the Century21 Superbowl commercials at

Enjoy a safe and fun Superbowl Weekend.....Go Ravens!!!
