Personal Background
- Born and raised in the Melville area of Saskatchewan
- Lived 3 1/2 years in Gimli, Manitoba
- Moved to Winnipeg in 1991
- Worked in the banking industry prior to obtaining my Real Estate License
- Married 35 years to my high school sweetheart
- Raised 3 children: Nikki has an active career in Real Estate; Laine is an award-winning hairdresser; and Tanner works on the Canadian National Railroad, now in training to be a locomotive engineer
- Our oldest granddaughter is now 4 and is very excited about having 2 new cousins
- Obtained my Real Estate License in 1992
- My daughter Nikki joined me in 2003 to form "Your Mother Daughter Team"
We are happy to announce that Nikki is expecting her first baby at the beginning of August, and Nikki's brother and his wife are also expecting at the beginning of September. We are overjoyed that there will be not 1, but 2 new additions to our family this year!
Education
- Nikki Burgess successfully completed the Bob Proctor Life Success Productions "MIC Program 3% Club" in March of 2009
- Both Nikki and I completed the Re-Licencing Education Program - MCE10, held in April of 2010
Professional Interests
Nikki and I have 26 years of combined of Real Estate Experience. We have been actively involved in the following volunteer organizations:
- Relay for Life (8 Years) - Our team has raised over $50,000.00 in support of finding a cure for cancer.
- Send a Kid to Camp (Kids with disabilities)
- Nikki participated in United Way of Regina Leadership Giving in 2003 - Leadership donors contributed almost $760,000.00 of the more than $2.53 million raised through the United Way of Regina's annual campaign.
