PRICE GROWTH ACROSS ALL MAJOR HOME TYPES IN MAY
Toronto Real Estate Board reports sales of single-detached homes in the GTA were up by almost 1% compared to the same period last year.
The average price of a detached home in Markham remains unchanged compared to May 2012.
However, Jason Mercer, TREB's senior manager of market analysis says the GTA remains on track to see price growth overall for 2013.
While demand for houses remains strong, new listings just aren’t growing as some sellers are holding off listing in hopes of price growth.
