Visit The Sutton Fair For Family Fun!

The 158th Sutton will be held this year on August 8-11.

The fair gates will open at 12:00 on August 8th and the festivities will begin. These festivities include the World’s Finest Shows on the Midway, commercial vendors and home craft exhibitions, truck and tractor pull pullers, and Georgina Idol Competition to name a few attractions in the Entertainment Pavilion at the Sutton Fair for opening day.  The entertainment doesn’t stop there, visitors can expect numerous other fun and exciting things to do and see.

This year’s theme for the fair is “the year of the bee”. You will notice many bee themed contests and events. Visit their website online to print off a bee-themed colouring contest for children ages 7 to 11.

Children of all ages are welcome to participate in The Great Canadian Duct tape Competition where entrants are expected to create a free-standing sculpture (not allowed to hang) that represents the theme “the year of the bee”. Entries will be judged on neatness and completion. Since structures can be created using any safe materials base underneath the duct tape, the structure creation will also be judged on at least 90% of the structure being covered in duct tape to qualify. For additional rules and to find out sculpture dimensions visit the Sutton Fair website.
