I believe that you should compare different kinds of insurance for your mortgage coverage.

I think these are some of the questions you should be asking when you're deciding which route to go:

1. Will the death benefit pay for my spouse and myself in the event of death?

2. Will the death benefit remain level?

3. Is the coverage portable?

4. Is the underwriting done at the time of application?

5. Is the insurance plan convertible?

There are other factors you should consider and I think you should go with whatever suits your needs.
