Open Houses

The great debate in Real Estate....I was asked again yesterday.....In my opinion, times have changed, buyers have changed and Real Estate has changed. While some agents still advocate open houses don't work. I certainly could challenge that statement. In my opinion, every home has a buyer and every avenue should not be left unexplored. It only takes one buyer, and time and time again, open houses have proved to be another avenue to success. Many buyers find it more comfortable, in the early stages to attend open houses to see if their budget matches their dream home.....quite often they find their dream home by simply walking through the door. Your buyer can appear anywhere, or anytime. Why limit your options? Many times, from what I personally have observed, open houses have even brought multiple offers, with additional buyers brought forth, with the professional representation they meet. In my opinion, Things always happen for a reason and you never know unless you try every avenue and leave no stone unturned. With that said, I do respect those sellers, who do not wish to have open houses, but you would never find me as a professional, turn down any avenue, to sell your home. :-)
