Overpriced Listings
Homeowners are finding it difficult to wrap their thoughts around the market trend that is showing a 2% housing price decline from this time last year, for a single family home. Subsequently, I find homeowners insistiting that their homes be listed higher than the current market value, causing their listing to sit on mls for a long period of time, until they come to the realization that they must reduce the price in order to get showings and offers. I'm finding this frustrating for both myself and my client.
