Living in Brighton

Welcome to Brighton one of  Charlottetown's most desirable neighbourhoods, buffered from the city somewhat by the beautiful Victoria Park.

This area is made up of many historic homes, some of them over 100 years old as well as newer developments from the 1970's to the 1990's, Brighton is roughly mapped out from Colonel Gray Drive to North River Road, to Brighton Road.

Houses in proximity to Victoria Park tend to retain their value, they feature large lots and well kept gardens. Mature trees line newer and old developments along Brighton road, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Edinburgh Drive, Inkerman Drive, and Prince Charles Drive.

Historic Victorian homes are situated in Old Brighton which is a smaller neighbourhood East of North River Road, surrounded by McGill Avenue, North River Road, Ambrose Street, and Brighton Road.

The Western part of Brighton Road in Charlottetown is a pleasant street bordered on the South by Victoria Park and to the North by a number of residential properties. It carries light traffic and pedestrians to the boardwalk and roadway around the scenic park and serves the neighbourhood of Brighton.

With a elegant Victorian-era vibe, Brighton is close to downtown but retains a quiet residential neighbourhood feel.  Houses range from $100,000 to over a $1,000,000, and rents are typically $900 and up.

The area offers access to public transit, elementary, junior and high schools, and green spaces, not to mention lovely Victoria Park with its waterfront boardwalk, tennis courts, baseball field, and a neighbourhood swimming pool.

This charming neighbourhood is ideal for families of all ages, singles, and retirees. If you are thinking to purchase a home, this area can meet all your needs.

Please call me if you need some information or would like to see any homes.

Your Brighton neighbour.
