PEI Real Estate Report - Staging Your Home For Sale!

First impressions are important when you are looking to sell your home. It is very important that you take into account that when people view your house, that they want to be able to visualize themselves living in the space. A little work, can go a long way.

 

 

That's where staging comes into play. It's important that when you are selling your home, you free it from clutter as best you can. Do your best to remove any personal items(such as photos, etc.), as you want the person viewing your home to visualize what their furniture will look like in the space. Removing some pieces of furniture and removing some knick-knacks can really open the space and make it look completely different.

 

 

Less is more. When you are staging your home, you are prepping it for sale. If you feel that this is an undertaking that is too much for you, you can hire a professional home stager. They will be able to stage your home for a fee and transform it using their designer skills. If that's something that you are interested in, you can find them in the phonebook, or you can use a search engine to find them on PEI.

Whatever avenue you decide with home staging, we suggest that you take it into account when selling your home. It really can affect the sale of your home.
