We were curious, why do you live where you do? Berni Wood answers

We asked some people who you may know, living in a variety of different communities, why they love where they live. This is what Berni Wood had to say about her community:
Berni Wood - President of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce
Colonial Realty - What neighbourhood do you live in?
Berni Wood: Charlottetown (Sherwood).
CR: How long have you been living there?
BW: 16 years.
CR: What made you choose this neighbourhood?
BW: I wanted a house close to Stonepark School so my son could walk to school.
CR: Describe your neighbourhood as you would to a friend.
BW: My neighbourhood is friendly, quiet, safe, and located in a convenient part of the City.
CR: What areas did you consider (if any) before you made your choice?
BW: I pretty much only considered Sherwood at the time, so that my son didn't have to change schools.
CR: What are your favourite things about the neighbourhood?
BW: My favorite part of the area is its friendliness, and it is only five minutes to downtown and five minutes to the airport.
CR: Is there something in particular that you are glad you can walk to in your neighbourhood.
BW: I can walk to the grocery store, the drug store, the golf course, church, the civic centre, and if there were children still at home, they could walk to school. Very convenient location.
