Century 21 Colonial Serves Up Spaghetti For Children's Wish !!

I along with Perri Craig, Manager Client Services were with many other Charlottetown business people and politcians who volunteered their time on Wednesday October 7 to serve spaghetti at Piazza Joe's Italian Eatery for the Children's Wish Foundation of PEI. Although we both have had past experience in the hospitality industry..it was a transition from our normal day to day activities.

For the cost of $10 guests were treated to a bowl of Piazza Joe's Spaghetti, a drink, garlic bread and cake for dessert. There were 2 seatings as in the restaraunt business-turning the tables is key and with a bunch of amateur servers it actually ran quite smoothly with no plates being dropped or food sent back. Thanks to Joe Lisi and his staff at Piazza Joe's for all their support.

Many other business people volunteered their time such as Cory Gray Vice President of Vogue Optical, Mary McInnis from RBC, Dean MacMillan from KenMac Energy, Robert Mitchell MLA and many others.

This is a fun fundraiser that raises money for the Children's Wish Wishmaker Parade that will be held on Saturday October 17 with 6 locations on PEI.

A great time was held by all and none of us dropped any plates !

Below is a picture of some of the servers and Beth Corney Gauthier, Chapter Director of Children's Wish PEI.

Also the video below is just 1 wish that was granted to a PEI Child, named Darcy- Great Story and a Great Guy !
