Housing starts have started to recover and are expected to continue to improve in the second half of 2009. Canada's annual inflation rose 0.9 per cent in November up from 0.1 per cent in October. November is the second straight month increase, due mainly from higher gasoline prices.
The increase is the fastest rate in eight months. Gas prices were 14.1% higher in the month compared to November 2008.
