Here are the highlights
- The long awaited transitional rules for OHST have been released as information notices.
- These rules address how to manage the application of OHST as well as the phase out of the respective retail sales taxes for payments and supplies that straddle the implementation date
- These rules are important because they will help with planning for and compliance with sales tax harmonization
