Thursday, December 11 - Succeeding in the Changing Canadian Market
Thursday, December 18 - Managing Your Business in the Changing Market (for Owners and Managers only)

The Canadian real estate market is changing; the recent period of year-over-year growth is coming to an end.  CENTURY 21 Canada wants to ensure that you are prepared to be successful under the new market conditions.

Many of you may have known no other real estate market than one in which house prices keep rising, and buyers bid against each other to purchase those houses.  A different market, in which sellers want to continue to price high, but buyers want to bid low, will present special challenges.

You may not feel ready to compete in a market where buyers are reluctant to make an offer, "in case the price comes down."  You may be uncertain how to persuade a seller to list a house at an attractive, competitive price.  You may dread having to negotiate to a close between parties with such divergent financial goals.

Of considerable concern are the negative news articles and commentaries in the US press.  The Canadian market is different, and home financing is more carefully managed, so the "horror stories" of what has happened in the US should not occur here.  However, both consumers and real estate professionals should be educated about the true condition of the Canadian real estate market.

If your interested in registering for the above course, please see me for details and enrollemnt.

Wishing you continued success
