We have had a very early start to winter this year. I'm sure some of you welcome the cold and snow and everything that come along with it. Snow mobiles, skiing, ice hockey out on a rink, snowmen, warm fires and some hot chocolate at the end of a day.

Dorothy is a local snowboarder carried to Oz (home of Oztralians, naturally) by a blizzard in this decidedly wacky and hilarious re-telling of the much loved story. Come prepared to cheer on the heroes, and to boo and hiss the Wicked Witch of the West in SST's yearly musical pantomime - a show that promises to be lots of fun for the whole family!

Christmas, Past and Present at the Simcoe County Museum is a great way to enjoy and embrace the Christmas Spirit. The pioneer heritage buildings will all be lit by lanterns, and as guests explore these buildings they will learn about Simcoe County's exciting past. Visitors can take part in horse-drawn wagon rides and sit by the fire while they are told about the origin of the Christmas tree. Crafts, music, food, entertainment - it's all there for you to enjoy.
