10th Annual Kids Fishing Day

Our goal is to offer children an opportunity to experience fishing, learn about conservation, and have lots of fun, compliments of the Kempenfelt Rotary Club and our corporate sponsors.
This event is open to children 13 years of age and under.
1. A guardian.
2. A fishing rod.
3. Internet Registration.
4. A signed Release Form.
5. Appropriate clothing for weather (i.e., sunscreen, hats, rain gear, etc.)
1. Entertainment, games, fun park and crafts.
3. Some fishing rods and tackle will be available on a loan basis by the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters.

38th Annual Promenade Days & Canada Day

Enjoy Downtown Barrie's longest standing Canada Day family weekend. The Downtown Merchants will showcase all their fantastic products during Promenade Day's Street Market. This event also features a petting zoo, face painting, midway, family stage, entertainment and more. Kids Fun Zone in Heritage Park, featuring inflatables and games from Party Tyme Treats & Amusements, as well as free face painting with Clarabella the Clown.

Lots to do...if you need some advice on one thing not to miss...its promenade days!
Don't forget about our boys of summer here in Barrie, the Barrie Baycats play out of the Smit & Shaw Stadium and are a great form of entertainment for the kids.
