I was born and lived for 12 years in the town of Truro, a town in the very middle of Nova Scotia. Like my mother before me I attended Willow Street School from Kindergarten to grade 6 (mom and I actually had a teacher in common which is still a bit weird). The town of Gibsons BC (pop 4,200) has earned a Gold award from the International Awards for Liveable Cities.
Gibsons won in the under 20,000 category for full city.
