Negativity...
Yesterday someone told me to "keep my negativity to myself" I quickly apologized and our conversation ended. Afterwards I was thinking if I had been overly negative about her situation. I by no means consider myself a negative person; I have been known to get stressed out once and a while and bang my fist on my desk with excitement but I am always positive about our market, my profession and life in general.
Unfortunately I think this person may have confused my honesty with negativity. If this is due to my lack of communication skills I am truly sorry (though in my defence I did study Broadcasting, Marketing and Communication...).
There are two types of people in the world
1. Those who will whisper sweet nothings in your ear and tell you what you want to hear
2. Those who will tell you the truth, no matter how uncomfortable
Who would you choose to sell your home?
p.s. I was in no way "negative" about the market or my profession in this situation, I was simply honest about this particular situation (her condo had been listed and expired 5 times in the last three years).
