When Listing Your Home We Pledge To.....

  • Provide you with a Competitive Market Analysis (CMA) to help you determine the most effective list price for your property.
  • Carefully prepare and submit a profile sheet describing your home to the MLS.
  • Take interior photos of your home to be posted on the MLS and realtor.ca websites as well as our personal website www.darrenandlesley.com
  • Place a yard sign and lockbox on your property.
  • Prepare and hold Open Houses (optional).
  • Promote your home to other associates at Century 21 Infinity Realty Inc. as well as other agents in the market area.
  • Provide frequent feedback to you on your agent showings, market competition, economic trends and financing alternatives.
  • Offer recommendations to maximize the market appeal of your property and to ensure the best possible sale price. When necessary, we will enlist the services of a professional “stager” to assist in this most important function.
  • Select advertising media for your property (see: How We Plan to Market Your Home)
  • Ensure that you fully understand all legal and financial details regarding the sale of your property.
  • Present and explain all offers to you and use our negotiating skills and experience to ensure that you realize the best price and terms possible.
  • Promptly forward all relevant documents to the other parties in the offer, to your lawyer, and to your financial institution.
  • Pre-qualify prospects to find ready, willing, and able buyers for your property.
  • Follow the closing process, handle necessary details and keep you informed on the closing procedures.
  • Find you a new home in the Durham Region or elsewhere. 

Professional Background

Darren and Lesley Cross both have strong professional backgrounds. Lesley was in a management position in the service industry. Darren was a lab store coordinator for Shopper’s Drug Mart where his key role was testing out marketing strategies for the company. They both became sales area managers for NHL imports, where they worked throughout the retail community. Darren and Lesley then made a decision to obtain their real estate licenses together – and have had a passion for real estate ever since!

After their first year of real estate together, the Cross Team won the Century 21 “Rookie of the Year Award.” Since that accomplishment they went on to achieve the silver and emerald masters awards, making the Cross Team one of the top producers of Century 21 Infinity Realty.

Professional Interests

Darren and Lesley Cross are highly involved in community and volunteer work in the Durham Region. In 2011 they were involved with the Epilepsy Association and Habitat for Humanity.

In April 2012 Darren and Lesley raised over $1,500 for the Canadian Cancer Society with their Relay For Life Bottle Drive. They will continue to be involved with the Relay For Life for the Cancer Society - which is a 12 km relay - and by participating in many other charity events. They also make numerous donations to charities.

Personal Background

Darren and Lesley live and work in the Durham Region. They have a son and they uphold family values with the highest regard. Darren’s hometown is Scarborough and he has also lived in Pickering and Oshawa. Lesley’s hometown is Toronto – the Beaches area. They currently own a home in Clarington.

Personal Interests

Darren and Lesley Cross are both highly interested in health and fitness. Lesley is very involved with yoga and Darren can frequently be found working out at a local gym. They enjoy bike riding and many other extracurricular activities and sports with their son.

Lesley is very outgoing and enjoys shopping with her friends. Darren enjoys fishing and ice-fishing. They both love travelling – especially to sunny destinations! They recently took their son to Disney Land, Florida. They have many European friends and look forward to a time when they can visit Europe.

Darren and Lesley are very fortunate to be able to claim that they love their job! - They have an intense and sincere passion for helping others find their dream homes.

Community Involvement

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT 2011:

In 2011, Darren and Lesley participated in different events with hopes of giving back to the Community including Epilepsy Durham's Purple Pancake Day, Epilepsy Durham's Fundraiser with the Super Dogs, The Epilepsy Durham's Walk For Courage, and a Successful Fundraiser in the Parking lot in The Habitat For Humanity ReStore where there were Games and Food and a lot of Fun had by All.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT 2012:

In April 2012 Darren and Lesley provided two Durham College students with the opportunity to do their Field Placements at Century 21. They took the time to train the students and provide them with a stimulating, real-life environment where the college students could apply their skills.

Furthermore, Darren and Lesley look forward to participating in several charity events in 2012. They have already raised over $1,500 for the Canadian Cancer Society with their Relay for Life Bottle Drive. They will continue to support the community through numerous donations and charity events.
