Report #1, Stats You Should Know:

•· It would appear that sellers are getting off the fence and are listing their properties. We are sitting with 35 more listings then this time June last year.
•· The average market time for the entire board, both City and Rural is 67 days compared to 84 last year.
•· There has been 1606 sales this year compared with 1296 last year. An increase of 310 units or 23.9%
•· The average sale price is $237,296 compared with $223, 614. An increase of $13,682, or 6.1%
•· The Century 21 United Realty Inc. website has 45,510 properties viewed on goldpost.com
Report #2, Quarterly Report:

•· This report is for single family homes, all types, Sub district 1-5 in the city of Peterborough
•· Remaining number of months of inventory is 3.0 month. Slightly down from last quarter of 3.1 months but up from last year same quarter of 2.6 months.
•· The total average days on the market is running between 33 - 37 days for the city of Peterborough. Prices above the $275,000 are selling in 49 days.

•· From the MLS statistical report you can see that in the month of June the majority of new listings came from the west end of town, sub-districts 2North, 2Cent & 2South, with 62 NEW listings last month.
•· The sub-districts where we are seeing the most activity in terms of sales are:
•- 4North, 4Cent., & 4South (east end of town) While there were only 10 new listings in the month of June The Sale to List Price ratio for the month was a whopping 160% and on the year 76% of all listings in these specific sub-districts have sold - the highest in the city
•- 5West & 5East (south end of town) There were 30 new listings in the month of June in these specific sub-districts. While the sale to list ratio for the month was only 57%, for the year 5East and 5West are the second highest in terms of percentage of listings sold on the year with a 68% sale to list ratio
