Here’s a town that for me embraces the best of what is Canada: The last weekend in January Bracebridge brings 50 truckloads of snow onto the main street to make one of the most amazing tubing hills ever created. It’s all part of the Fire and Ice Festival.
This is the kind of fun-loving place that I and my family get to enjoy. I am an "Influence Tier Member" of the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce.
It would come as no surprise to locals then to know that National Geographic Traveler magazine named Bracebridge as one of the top 20 Best Must See Places in the World. And I’ll let you in on a little secret: Bracebridge is not only a great place to visit, but an even better place to live.
In a wonderful play on words – that really speaks to what you can experience living here - our own economic development department says: “Bracebridge is a desirable location for entrepreneurs and business professionals who believe that it is possible to bridge success in business with fulfillment in life.”
There are waterfront properties available in both urban and rural settings, dense downtown developments, historic and modern urban homes, condos, apartments and a wealth of secluded rural settings. As the Town says: “With real estate prices 217% cheaper on average than those in Toronto and the lack of gridlock, the move to "The Bridge" can be an easy one to make.”
