Curtis considers the Municipality of West Elgin, Municipality of Dutton Dunwich and Township of Southwold his home, an area in a landscape of Carolinian Forests, open agricultural fields, ravines, river and lakeshore bluffs. It is an area extending some 45 miles west of London and St. Thomas known as the western part of Elgin County and is bordered by the natural boundaries of the Thames River to the north and Lake Erie shores on the south with the 401 highway corridor providing access to the rural communities of Shedden, Dutton, West Lorne and Rodney. Properties in this area include small town residential, small town commercial, rural residential, lakeshore residential, recreational, farm, hobby farm, woodlots and farmland.
