As a resident of the North Shuswap since 1974 I am very familiar with the Shuswap area and can provide the insight you need when considering a new location. I would love to be the one to assist you in making your Real Estate decision.
Professional Background
Prior to being involved in Real Estate I owned and operated my own Hair Salon in the Scotch Creek & Celista area for 25 years. I provided in home service as well to clients as I felt that there was a real need. I really enjoyed working with people and regrettably had to give it up, at which point I looked for a career that would still involve working with the public. I also have a bookeeping background as well and have been a partner in my Husband's business which consisted of logging operations and sawmilling. Currently we also own a farm on which we produce hay feed for horses. I have a strong work ethic and believe you get out what you put in!!
Professional Interests
Over the years I have volunteered in many different organizations & associations on the North Shuswap & Chase. I was very involved with the North Shuswap Elementary School while my children were attending and before that the North Shuswap Pre-School. Since 1988 I have been involved with the Heart & Stroke association Of BC & Yukon. Currently donations for In Memorium can be made through me. I have been the area Co-ordinator since 1991 & am always on the lookout for volunteers!! I volunteer my time in Chase at the Art Holding Memorial Arena in support of Minor Hockey. I am also a supporter and volunteer of The newly formed Junior team the "Chase Chiefs" I belong to the North Shuswap Community Association & the North Shuswap Chamber of Commerce & The North Shuswap Historical Society. I feel that it is important to give back to your community and we can all make it a better place to live & work.

Personal Background
I came to the North Shuswap in 1974 with my parents John & Hazel Bath, sister Sandra & brothers Donald & Steven. My parents had purchased Bob's Supermarket (currently Sunnyside) from Bob Bristow when he retired. Previously we had lived in Kamloops and spent summers in the Shuswap. I graduated from Chase Secondary in 1976 & attended Hairdressing School in Vernon that fall, moving back to Celista in the Spring upon completion of my schooling. I married a local fella and we have three sons and 1 daughter. In 2005 our Daughter & Son-in-law gave us our 1st Granddaughter. I am very fortunate in that all my children live close by and work in the area.
Personal Interests
I love history especially if it is "local" so I think I have a lot of knowledge about the North Shuswap and the surrounding areas as well. I do love gardening, fishing, swimming, and hiking. Reading is another one of my passions.
