Things to think about when buying a condo:
* Ensure your realtor knows the building
*Be prepared to look a high and low rise buildings
*Know that one bedroom units and studios are harder to sell than 2 bedroom units.
*Check out the neighbourhood at different times during the day, and test out traffic at the times that you will be travelling
*A view is a great thing, not only when you live there, but for resale
*Take the parking spot, even if you have to rent it! Better for resale.
*Ensure you understand what is covered in your condo fees, so that there are no surprises.
*Are property taxes included in your condo fees?
*Do not be afraid to ask questions, and understand what goes on in your building...You won't be disappointed if you ask the questions.
