My working life began, after college, with employment at BC Telephone Co. I took a few years off to raise my 2 sons. I returned to the work force as a member of the school district. My favorite position was library/tech at the time when computers were first introduced to the education system. We had many challenges and rewards as we taught and used technology with our students. In 2002 my husband was offered a new position in Grande Prairie and our family packed up and moved.
I was looking for a new challenge as I desired more freedom in my hours of work and wanted to develop my own business. I began my training in residential real estate sales in 2003 and have never looked back.
I LOVE helping people find the right home for them. It is a challenging, yet gratifying career, and there is nothing more exciting than the moment when you show a family a home that "fits" their lifestyle.

D’Arcy began his real estate career in 1979. Over the past 29 years, he has worked with a variety of companies; from small independent firms to large franchise operations. He has worked as a salesperson and has owned and operated a number of real estate companies. His experience and knowledge has proven to be invaluable to his clients. Assisting clients in relocating to and from Grande Prairie has always been a big part of D’Arcy’s business and over the years he has had the opportunity of working with almost every corporate relocation company operating in Canada.
As is the case in other industries and professions that recognize excellence, the real estate industry measures sales “excellence” by how much business volume or “production” a salesperson does in any given year. In every company D’Arcy has been associated with he has been recognized as one of the top producing; the Re/Max "100% Club", the Coldwell Banker "Elite", "Top 50 in Canada" for Homelife and Century 21 "Masters Hall of Fame".
Another more compelling measure of excellence is how a person's peers rate them. The Multiple Listing Service [MLS] recognizes one individual each year whom the members have voted as the "Realtor of the Year". D’Arcy has been the recipient of this award on two occasions.
All that being said, the final and most important measurement of “excellence” has always rested in the hands of the client. Their “vote” is usually expressed in the form of repeat business and ongoing referrals. The vast majority of D’Arcy’s business is composed of repeat clients and referrals from past clients.
Accredited Buyer's Representative - is the premiere Buyer agency designation, conferred by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council [REBAC], recognizing real estate professionals who have completed special education in Buyer representation.
Seller Representative Specialist - is the premiere Seller agency designation, conferred by the SRS Council, recognizing real estate professionals who havve completed special education in seller representation.
