My thought is this. "What more gratifying feeling can their be than to help a new family find "their" dream home and/or help someone else sell theirs and move on to other exciting things in their lives. And making a living for me and my family in the process isn't a bad thing either"

All of which I try to perfect and improve upon daily. That said, in my experience as an Eastern Ontario real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. Ensuring customer's satisfaction and happiness have been big parts of my chosen career path for a long time. Why is this the path I chose back in the mid 1980's? Simple, I am honest and truly care about people and how they are treated. I've obviously been on the other side of the fence and purchased many items before. From clothing and cars to furniture and real estate. The two primary traits that "I" look for in a professional sales person, is one that demonstrates knowledge and a passion for the product or service they sell and most importantly one that "cares" enough to find out what their customer's true needs and desires are, this shows clearly that I can trust their intentions. Then and only then can they present that which is best suited to their client. Not the item that make's them the most commission or the one that their employer make's the most profit. When professional sales representatives approach the sales process in this way and by keeping those traits in mind from beginning to end the customer/client cannot help but to be satisfied and happy. I have accomplished great success in sales by paying close attention to exactly this philosophy. It has also been accomplished by dedication, care and integrity, not to mention "being pretty easy to get along with, or so I'm told".
I have officially been in sales since 1987, when I sold my first car. Since then I have sold hundreds of vehicles, including one to my wife, to whom, I am still happily married. "I must be doing something right". I have also taught many to sell thousands more. In the automotive industry, I have achieved success in every position within the sales department including, front line sales rep, sales manager, business manager and general sales manager. I have sold new and used vehicles and RVs, I have arranged financing and have assisted clients with other products and services related to automotive as well. I have many satisfied clients.
Real Estate sales has been a part of my life since 2006 when I began intensive training to be a professional realtor. Since then I have helped many people buy and sell properties. From condos to single family homes, from low cost building lots to million dollar homes. I have assisted buyers and sellers alike with business property, industrial property and farming property.
My sales experience and resulting successes have clearly demonstrated what really matters today......TRUST. Which, in my opinion, is what it really all boils down to...after you remove all the "fluff" trust is the key element that enables a person to make a decision to allow another person, in many cases, nearly a complete stranger, to take care of some of their biggest assets. Happily married for 27 years to a wonderful woman that has stood beside me through good and bad. We have 2 great kids, son and daughter. We have been living and raising our family in Russell Township for 29 years. Before November 1988, I lived in Ottawa for 10 years and was born in Cornwall, Ontario. Therefore, save from brief stays in Calgary & Victoria, beautiful cities for sure, I have been an Eastern Ontario guy at heart for over 40 years. I was born here and spent most of my life here. This is my home, I love the people in Eastern Ontario, I love the geography, the amenities & the recreation. We have exceptional schools, community development programs, local businesses and a wide variety of unique and diverse cultural "things to do" and entertainment possibilities.........it is a great place to live, work and raise a family!
