Personal Interests

As a father of 2 little girls, I readily enjoy spending time with them and watching them grow and learn.  I enjoy redesigning and renovating homes and am always looking for my next project home.  I enjoy playing any sport. 

Personal Background

I graduated from The University of Western Ontario in 1988 with a degree in Business Administration Financial and Economic Studies.

Upon Graduating, I designed and opened the first ever on premise brewery/winery which I opened in Oshawa in 1989.  The flagship store continues to operate today as BYOB Springwater Brewing and is located at 875 Wilson road S in Oshawa.

I became a licensed Realtor in 2000.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE MY HOUSE FOR RESALE

When preparing to sell your home, it is crucial for Sellers to objectively look at their home from the perspective of a potential Buyer.  Buyers will look at every house with a discriminating eye, so Sellers should eliminate all of the potential issues with their home prior to placing the home on the market.  Having a home that is clutter free, with a tidy landscape and impeccably clean goes a long way to impressing potential buyers.  Sellers need to keep in mind that most homes that are listed show extremely poorly and if they put a little effort in prior to listing, they can really impress.

Sellers can follow my HOMESELLING SYSTEM, which includes a prelisting home inspection, a consultation with a professional home stager and an organized action plan to prepare their home for resale in an efficient and effective 5 day period.  All of my listings include professional photography with virtual tours, maximum internet exposure, colour feature sheets, and upto three days of assistance from my team of contractors to assist in preparing your home for resale.

Staging your home will allow you to sell your home in a timely manner and for more money.  Think of it this wasy, woudl you try to sell your car covered in dirt or would you wash it first.

WHY SHOULD I HAVE A HOME INSPECTION DONE PRIOR TO LISTING MY HOME?

This is a tool that I use that allows me to uncover any hidden issues with the home that may cause a deal to fall apart later in the process.  A pre listing home inspection allows me to properly price the home based upon the current condition of the home and provides the opportunity to remedy any issues PRIOR to the home being listed.

Keep in mind, I pay for this pre listing inspection.  This is a very valuable tool and it  allows my sellers to be confident and worry free when a potential buyer is conducting their own home inspection.
